I’m a graphic designer and occasionally an illustrator. Working with grids and making systems is entirely too satisfying to me and I see design work as a bunch of little puzzles that I’d like to solve. I draw a lot in my free time and whenever I get stuck in a project, I pull out some paper and see if I can doodle my way to a solution. I got my BFA in Design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and loved taking advantage of the amazing print lab there. 

Something I like to keep in mind when designing is something a mentor of mine taught me: designing for authenticity vs. authority. Balancing the contribution of a human, personal touch while also creating professional, authoritative work is a concept I always want reflected in my work.
